ZF is the original manufacturer of the rack. I could do one of their racks rebuilt for $450 plus a $150 core charge. Or you could go with Maval which is what most folks go with because of price. They are $295 plus a $125 core charge. I have not heard of or seen any new power steering racks out there. I can get new manual racks for $325

Hope this helps, Ken Wilford John 3:16 http://www.vanagain.com http://www.strictlyvwauctions.com http://www.eurovan.org http://www.vwcabrio.org Phone: (856)-327-4936 Fax: (856)-327-2242

Anyone know if it is possible to buy a new steering rack? If not who has the best name in rebuilts?

Thanks, Brian
