I would hardly say that "We live in the U.S." is accurate when it comes to the list membership. And secondly, being the owner of a 914 for a little more than 10 years now, I can tell you that although the badge says Porsche, the drive is definitely VW.

Sorry, gotta step in here. The 914, while sold in Europe as a VW, was a Porsche in the U.S. Only Porsche dealers sold them here.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I know it was a joint venture with Porsche, just like the Cayenne thing is. It hardly makes them the same animal.

We live in the U.S. The 914 is a Porsche.

By the way, I owned a 1990 G60 Corrado that was pretty hopped up. That was one wild ride it you really got on it. Damn, I wish I never sold that car.
