To get off iffy nuts the best way is to use a acet. outfit , Heat the nuts up red then let the red go out for the heat to penatrate, then reheat to red again to remove nuts don,t try to heat the stud red ~ nut only // It tis much easier than using nut crackers // You should use a 13 mm 6 point socket or a 1/2 " 6 point if nuts are deteriorated // If nuts are rounded badly you may have to use vise grips to clamp on nuts // if tight coming off you may have to reheat 4 to 5 times // Caution don,t overheat and melt nuts or stud end threads.
