Really? So it's fine to be stuck behind some road pig who sits on 90kmh on the straights on a twisty 100kmh highway, slowing to 70 for the slightest HINT of a bend, not allowing following traffic to pass and building up a queue of irritated drivers behind? Get real! This happens constantly, and of COURSE the following drivers are going to be pissed.

My road rage is generally restricted to swearing (to myself; the pig can't hear me) and sometimes honking or flashing headlights. BUT some people are less in control, and this is where assaults are happening.

Hmmmm....unless I am very much mistaken,a 100kmh speed limited road (for example) means that 100kmh is the MAXIMUM speed at which you are allowed to travel. It does not mean that is the speed at which you MUST travel. If you wish to travel faster than someone ahead of you who is driving within the speed limit, well that's tough. You wait untill a safe place to pass.If there aint one for a while...well,too bad.Put on some soothing music and relax. They aren't doing anything wrong and the driver behind has no right to be pissed off at them. Sure it can be annoying but in my opinion it is the height of arrogance to believe any other road user should drive at the speed as decreed by the impatient jerk behind.

Sure,we've all been frustrated by a slow driver or the clown who baulks at corners and then accelerates on straights so as to make it difficult to pass, but it aint worth raising one's blood pressure over.Life's too short as it is....
