Just a note to share another road adventure with some creative vanagon types!

For those in the know, Susans Westfalia acres was as usual wonderful ;-)

For those that aren't ya really need to come to the only VW only campground I know of.

This trip had a few less vanagons than in the past, we did have Jon's greasel (was on used motor oil and duck fat this time) and Loren's very cool compact quick release CB antenea (and cocktail hour flag :-)

Now on to my tech question... coolant, if ya can't see where it's dripping from odds are it's being consumed internally. Is that a valid deduction? I'm losing about a pint of coolant (as per my overflow) a month. My van doesn't run hot or poorly (as you would expect from bad compression or water introduced into the combustion process). Sooo... where could it be going?

Also, has anyone installed a eberspacher from scratch under their vanagon?

If so, how was it and do these work well?

Thanks, Brian
