When I swapped out the AFM from my 87 parts van over to the 89 it helps the way it runs quite a bit. Seems to help the hesitation and bucking significantly. It still does buck a small amount but in the lower gears but its much improved. I checked the flap inside the opening on both AFM units and they move freely. This rig already has the wiring patch upgrade connected inline. I am wondering if I can rebuild my own AFM and renew the sweep location or anything else that needs to be done to bring it back to perfect running order. Thanks, Doug |
