OK I got the new tires they are made by YKS, for whatever reason I had to get 195R14, because they didn't have 185R14. This is an 8 ply tire made for mini-motor homes; the load rating is 2095lbs max per tire. I mounted them up myself and they are very stiff and heavy. It is defiantly an interesting look, the passenger car tires that were on my van were 195/70 R14 these are taller and a hair thinner, the speedometer is dead on the money with my navigation system now, before it was off a good bit. The van seems to handle fine with them. All in all it seemed like a pretty good deal at 49$US per tire. Jerry |
