I recently did the same repair. I decided to put clamps on every injector and leave the cups off. It seemed to me that the "barb" like structure of the male portion of the hook-up would hold the hose just fine, but why risk it? All in all, a much easier chore than I expected. -----Original Message----- For those who have replaced their fuels lines and specifically the short lines between the injector and the fuel rail here's a question. What is the OD than the factory hose that was on there. As a result, this new hose does not fit snugly inside the base of the washer. If that washer is supposed to make a difference it won't have any effect with this hose. I'm thinking of using some clamps to be sure and safe.
