you can also stand on the tires I suppose.. tricky balance with a bike in one hand, the other slapping for something to 'grab' I resemble that last comment ! ;-0 (as of late that is!)

I saw this over the past weekend (still dont have the hatch rack yet) so I put the bike on top for the weekend jaunt
