Good point, as I always buy used car assuming I will need to sink $1000 into in the first 3 months to get it up to my standard. I have a great maintenance facility at my disposal and can do almost any fix, but I've never done auto trans work.

I was hoping somebody knows these specific symptoms and could give specific ideas...it's fair to assume it could be $2000 as most trans rebuids are...
