Subject: Great idea for lightweight engine hoist

A good buddy told me about these patient lifts. He picked one of these up from his neighbors for a favor and uses it on all his vw engine pulls.

I have the large 2 ton engine hoist I bought from Pep Boys for a cheap $119 right now on sale. The only problem I have with it is it is a monster to move around and it alone weighs in at 200 pounds.

I would like to pick up one of these patient lifts reasonably if anybody knows of one available.

Seems like a good tip for those of us out there with home shops.

Doug
