My personal interest in the oil topic died about 50 emails ago. I do now know more about the topic, testing, etc than I ever thought I would.

That being said, As a Westy lover with limited mechanical exp/knowledge I learn new things from this list daily....and not all of them mechanical. I think the heated exchanges are symbolic of the great emotion and energy these crazy vans of ours bring out in us. Keep it up, I've still got tons to learn.

Two suggestions for those who feel overwhelmed by the lists ability to generate huge quantities of emails:

1. Create a separate folder in your inbox and use the "rules" tool to direct any emails from the list to that special folder.

2. Subscribe to the list in Digest Mode! It cuts down the daily emails to 1-2 (well, 4 so far today). Makes the content much more manageable.
