Yes, there are some posts in the archives about this. I am on my second one now - the first one lasted about 40k kms and 5 years, with much of that rough road driving. The width is about 1" less, and it must be pressed into the carrier after the old insert is pressed out. I buy them for about $25 CDN, and a local shop presses them in for free. This amounts to 1/10 the cost of the original part, so I don't mind doing it every few years. If you drive a lot, it may only last a year however. They fail gradually, resulting in clunking as the nose bounces around. I'm thinking of trying two inserts next time, as I think they can be made to fit side by side. I did also try a urethane insert designed to fill the gaps in the A1 mount, and it was like bolting the tranny straight to the frame - major buzzing/whining, and I never went past 2nd gear...
