You will want black, or as dark as you can get - that helps keep the dash from reflecting back up onto the windshield and into your view.

I find that in the Audi, the dash plastic underneath gets really hot, even tho the polypropylene mat is supposed to stop all that, since it's full of air pockets. I remember in the olden days people sold a silver foil you could put on your dash, then place the mat over it, but that seems to have disappeared. I will experiment and report on what works.

I have a problem seeing out the back window of the Audi, and will have a mat made as soon as I get a minute....... the manufacturer is next door in Brea, and they will make a mat for anything.
