Hello List-

I have been a member since about 1997 and it's been
the best list of all I'm subscribed to.

I am asking you to pray for my dear mother Frances
Keezer
who is in the hospital with cancer the last 2
weeks.It's hard not having her her at home anymore.

It's been caught fairly early and the doctors are
optimistic about treatment,  if you saw my mother
today you would think this is her last.

I am having a hard time coping with the possible loss
of my Mom.

 It started 3 weeks ago when she was diagnosed with
shingles. The news of cancer came just 3 days ago.
The pain of the shingles is unbearable-morphine is
usually used.

She has always been my best friend in life and she has
always supported me through my rough times in life-

Now I'm helping her but it's very heartbreaking to not
be able to see her in her normal frame of mind.
She hasn't been eating much or walking at all for over
two weeks, and she is getting very weak.

They had her on morphine for two weeks and that
accounts for much of why she is inchoherent. They
won't use it after today.

I'm hoping for her recovery.Some of you know I live
with her at home. She needed live-in care and so I
have been doing this for about 14 years, since she had
breast cancer in 1989.

She loved to ride around with me in my Westfalia
-David Marshall remembers her- I took her on a
vacation in '99 to Canada .

Mom took us on a lot of trips as kids and I felt since
I was blessed with such a nice camper as a Vanagon
that I owed it to her.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers for her and out
family in this time of crisis. She and I will greatly
appreciate your  e-mail or  call.
