Two months isn't a *huge* amount of time, in the grand scheme of things. Not long enough IMO to worry about old gas and such. One thing that will be well worth your money is to get a solar trickle charger and leave it on the dash. I ended up with one at a Radio Shack for $15 (maybe sale, maybe clearance; it was originally $30.)
