Joe,

I have used PureOne filters on all my vehicles for many years. They seem to work well on vanagon and others, including my rx7 that mounts the filter upside down so you really can tell if the filter valve leaks. They are not cheaper than the recommended german filters from BusDepot or the like, but I can get them on Sunday afternoon at Advance Auto.

My $.02 worth.
