Hi Tom,

For myself, having only had the '84 for 4 weeks... I've found ample room within the vehicle for all my wiring thus far (radio, 8 speakers, amp, spare battery)- there seems to be enough nooks-n-crannies and carpetcover to safely run and hide everything inside- I may be using more wire-length than needed as I am tucking things in corners instead of a straighter line tho... can't comment on longevity, I've only just begun! I figure as long as wires are out of any high foot-traffic areas or dog/child reach, and well-insulated, I'll hopefully be ok.
