As Chris has indicated...you might be needing to talk to a lawyer soon. But first, talk to the dealer. They might be cooperative (if you are very lucky). If they aren't, then it is time to start the lawyer wheels. Don't hesitate. If your engine was really rebuilt only 30K miles ago, this should not have happened. I took my Westy into the dealer recently, and now am prepared to completely swear off of ever using them again. It isn't worth the hassel. Local auto shops will get the parts faster are less likely to bitch about a 13 year old (in my case) Van. The dealer won't have practically any parts for it in stock and won't use anything other than VW parts...meaning you'll have to wait a couple of days for the parts, let alone the repairs. |
