Actually there have been a couple of positive reports on the Alko's posted to the list over the last couple of months. You could do an archive search. Incidentally, while I don't have them on my own van (only because I don't need new shocks yet), the reason I started carrying them was due to Just Kampers/U.K.'s enthusiasm about them. They'd been selling them for quite some time to European Vanagon owners and received overwhelmingly positive user reports.
