Oh, this is beginning to sound like the synthetic oil debate of recent. I put single electrode plugs in my Vanagon - engine runs OK. I put Bosh +4 plugs in there - engine runs wonderfully (much better than just OK) All the proof I need to use Bosch +4 plugs.
