The 2.1L dual carb engine that came out of my Syncro Single Cab is for sale. The motor ran like a top until it died ( no kidding eh! ). If you put a socket on the crank, it will turn very smoothly about 270 degrees and then stop - there is something that won't make it go the rest of the way. The oil that I removed from the engine was clear and no metal bits were found. I have no idea what is wrong with it and I really don't want to tear the motor apart to see what happened. The motor is complete with the following accessories: - Power steering pump (alternator is gone) - Complete dual carburetor setup with fuel lines - Flywheel (clutch and pressure plate are gone) - Distributor, hall sender control unit Price... I'm open to offers - highest offer by Friday noon takes it... terms are postal money order or cash only, you arrange for shipping, sold "as is" and sold as "suitable for rebuild only" condition. Like I said, it ran perfectly with LOTS of power before it died - it died while revving to about 4000 to 5000 RPM trying to get the alternator (not included) to spot squealing. I have a picture available for those who are interested.
