As some of you may know, I have been in the process of restoring my '84 7-passenger van. Last year, Part 1 (new Boston Bob 1.9L long block and just about everything else in engine compartment) and Part 2 (new bearings and brake equipment) were completed. Yesterday (Saturday, June 12) morning, I picked up my van from Harrison's Auto Body after giving the owner, Ms. Kim Harrison my check for the agreed upon price. Bottom line is that the exterior of the van looks like the van just came from the factory in Germany. The techs at Harrison's popped all the windows, removed all the old body rubber, etc, repairs the dents, rust, etc., repainted to the original color, installed new body rubber (from The Bus Depot) and put the glass back. I will be happy to provide pictures of the finished job. Unfortunately, I do not have a website. John Lauterbach Macon, GA |
