More probably it is your ignition key switch. Check the Bentley for other items on the X circuit (headlights are there). If the fresh air fan is on that circuit, check to see if it works...only when you hold in the high beams. If that is the case, it is almost certainly the ignition key switch. If that isn't it. You can check the headlight switch.
