Hmm, nice idea, but...  I'll be there 7-8 weeks, hopefully working 6-day
weeks.  Not nearly enough to warrant bringing a vehicle!  And I wouldn't
have much time to drive it.

So Matilda is going to spend a relaxed summer in my friend's backyard in
Highland Park, NJ while I'm off in Egypt suffering vanagon-withdrawal.  As
well as vanagon.com withdrawal - I can't imagine my email connection will be
good enough to handle all the list email, so alas I'll have to unsub for a
while.  Sniff, sniff...

Thanks to everyone who sent advice for Matilda's hibernation!

I had a job in Cairo in 2000 and I shipped my van over
there and drove all around Egypt. and then drive back
from Cairo to Amsterdam. GREAT TRIP.  If you want any
help on this I can help you.  If you want to read of

archives for stebbins (author's name) and Cairo (in
subject)  since 2000 to 2002.  M
