The van needs to go back to the shop if it really bothers you. If you can take your hands off the wheel and it still goes straight it's fine. Not that any of this is going to help you on the trip you already left on...

FWIW in the alignment the steering wheel is centered & locked down, then the tie rods are adjusted to specs. Adjusting the tie rods is not a pain, it's how you line it up. (No I didn't even mention camber or caster or the rears.... we are talking about the steering wheel being off a little). And just a bit more in the FWIW department... I can't count the number of times we'd get a car in the shop because "it pulls". On the test drive you'd notice the steering wheel off to one side or another but the car going straight down the road. If you straightened the wheel the car pulled in that direction. It just needed an alignment to straighten out the steering wheel.
