Welcome!  I have an '85 Westfalia as well.  It might be for sale soon.
Are you sure you don't want it instead? ;-)

I'd check everything, to include fuel filter, temp sensor and temp sensor
connections.  Do the LED lights for temperature blink when you first turn
on the ignition?
