About 2 years ago I was in the Ketchum, ID, 12 miles out at the end of a dirt road, turned 4 w/d trail camping in my van(RVC), biking. About 2 AM I was awakened by drunks who drove up to the front of my van, turned their brights on/of/on, raced the engine, etc., and when I didn't respond/complain they left. Since that time I now carry a bear gun (12 Ga., 18 1/2" barrel, pump 6 shot, slugs) hoping cocking it will do the trick. I've also come across bears in that area, but they don't drink much and seem to act a lot more sane, more predictable.

Oh, it's in the closet.
