We bin a-telling em for years...I bin driving E-codes since 1971 and they're just as good now -- (but the stock US-code lights have gotten worse overall because the custom shapes vary widely in performance). Every new user is a new convert, but somehow it doesn't seem to make much impression on people who haven't tried them.

YO! PEOPLE! Listen to this man, he's got good advice for ya! E-Codes WORK! E-Codes DON'T BLIND ONCOMING TRAFFIC!* YOU DON'T HAVE TO USE GIANT BULBS AND MELT YOUR WIRES, THEY WORK GREAT JUST AS THEY COME!

*When you're overtaking, there's a brief period when the car you're passing is in the part of the beam that rises to illuminate roadside signs. In 30+ years of using these lights I've had one overtaken vehicle complain. The rest of the time...you can see quite a way down the road. You can see the cutoff line on the trunk of the car ahead, and because of the sharp cutoff it doesn't bother him a bit. IMHO US-code lights should be outlawed as suicidally dangerous and the lighting companies and their engineers should be mulcted of heavy damages and publicly pilloried for cynical acquiescence to the sorry situation.
