I have used a set of Firestone Firehawk in that size on my '85 Westy and ejoyed the wider footprint and 1535 lbs load handling at 55 psi. They ride a little better, IMHO, and do corners better than the 8-ply Bridgestones on my '84 Westy. Beware that the 27x8.5 is not recommended for rims narrower than 6''. Chris S. |
