TJ Hannink <tjhannink@YAHOO.COM> wrote: "plug the vents themselves with some foam rubber blocks" Last summer while driving through Redding, CA. in 108deg heat the air leaking into the cabin through the outside vents felt like the heater blasting. I pulled over to Kmart and bought one of those foam swimming pool worms in the toy dept., cut it to size and stuffed it into the intake vent behind the grill. Works great. If I need outside air I open a window. <"I increased the size of the wiring to the main fuse because I was melting terminals and fuse blocks"> I have a 7p syncro and my fans melted my fuse blocks also. A good idea to replace as preventive maintenance. gp |
