Just gettin back with the East Coasts Super Jam Report / Sunday June 13th.
The sun shined till appox. 9:00 it then became cloudy & dismal the rest of
the day.
The jet dragster twas awesommmme and the same for many fabulous VW runs down
the track.
The show car display had a few extremly nice pristine camper buses and a few
VANAGONS , but not as many as I expected // In the custom bug section was
several beautiful choptop bugs and some very nice custom engine layouts
There was a very nice parts vendor display arena // I spoke to several of the
vendors who said the sales were slow and in between // very few people with
parts in hand walking around or going to the parking lot with parts // The
threat of rain from all directions may have slowed the attendance down, plus a
increase from $15.00 to $20.00 for the entry fee . I talked to Walt last evening
who is the owner and promoter of the show and he stated that he had to increase
entry fees due to everyone charging him more for everything from this to
that // Walt really puts on a fine show and we in the VW field hope there will be
many many more !!! Thanks to all that did attend it helps keep the VW trend
on the move.
