Subject:   rear inner tire wear - weak spring fix - 87 westy
Comments:   To: listserv@gerry.vanagon.com
Content-Type:   text/plain; format=flowed

hello all

My 87 westy is experiencing excessive rear tire wear on the insides of both of the rear tires. When the van is viewed from the rear the tires are not straight up and down due to the springs sagging / heavy load. Any suggestions on raising the springs without replacing them? Rubber spacers? I and my relatively new Michelins beg for help. Just upped the pressure from 37 to 48psi hoping to delay the inevetable.

Mike Kozak 87 westy
