Hello Volks,


I am in need of an automatic transmission for a 1985 Vanagon Westy.  I
was wondering if anyone out there has one that is in good shape that
they would be willing to part with.


A few questions:


What year(s) auto transmission will fit into an 1985 vanagon?  Is it
83.5 - 85 or 83.5 - 91?  Any other years?


How much should I be looking to spend on a new or used transmission?
