If you'd like to get away from the Mickey-Mouse look of the
stock 185R14 tires, try the 27x8.5R14 on for size.  I have used
a set of Firestone Firehawk in that size on my '85 Westy and
ejoyed the wider footprint and 1535 lbs load handling at 55 psi.
 They ride a little better, IMHO, and do corners better than the
8-ply Bridgestones on my '84 Westy.  Beware that the 27x8.5 is
not recommended for rims narrower than 6''.
