The refrigerant is just a portion of the problem. Many of the older systems have other age related problems that caused refrigeration loss. They'll also loose anything else you put into there. ---------------------------- I've taken A/C systems off of five Vanagons - Westy and every one of them had at least one pinched O ring that could have happened at OEM port of entry install or with later repairs.
