try checking the 1/4" spade terminal on the starter solenoid. i have had problems with that connection on several vans. often with that you get the start no start situation. clean the connection, visually inspect the connection and the wire, then check the tightness with which the connector fits on the spade. this connection should be hard to pull apart if not give the connector a squeeze with a pair of needle nose pliers.
