Yes it is a blend, however it does work just as well as R-12 and the
pressures are much lower than R-134a (like the R-12 pressures).  I have
not found that the blend loses potency over time as some have predicted
or that it gets less effective as you have to recharge the system over
years and years.  This sounds like a possibility but my experience with
this product says otherwise.

Some are claiming it cools no better than 134 a for this reason.

It is also not a good idea to mix 134 with R12
