Subject: Friday Wal Mart standoff.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

This AM the Dallas Police approached a van camping in a Wal Mart parking lot in Grand Paririe TX (Part of Dallas). The van is a Chevy with NM license plates. The inhabitants (don't know how many) shot the two policemen that approached the van to check things out. This stand off started about 8AM and continues through this noon hour without any more shots beingn fired. Every time I ever camped (parked the night) in a Wal Mart parking lot I was approached by unsavory characters panhandling or just nosing about not knowing that I was in the van. I've always considered it just as dangerous as camping the night in truck stops or highway rest stops. Florida is the exception in rest stops because they have good security.
