I now carry some 12ga terminal housing for the H4 lights. A lot better than the cheesy 16 to 18ga ones that are available at most auto parts stores.

Cost for the pair is $14.95 Canadian or about $10.95 USD.

I have an '86 that I am changing from the old square lights to 7" H4's. Anyone know if you can buy the H4 connectors so you can cut off the old connectors and splice in the H4's?

Andrew

I installed Cibie H4 ecode headlights in Hershey (http://www.knology.net/~vwghost/hershey/) last night. If you haven't done this already, what are you waiting for? The difference is tremendous with a flat, wide, even beam of light which lights up the entire roadway and the sides instead of projecting just two hot spots in the middle as with the DOT headlamps - these are MUCH better than Sylvania Xtra Vision on Camel (http://www.knology.net/~vw/dadada.jpg). It's an easy upgrade since the H4 bulbs plug into the existing sockets. It was well worth my $40.
