Dear fellow fools (I can't tell you how much time I have spent fixing this damned thing)

I was having trouble starting my van... it would start perfectly one day then turn over endlessly with no spark whenever it was damp. Yesterday I finally had the chance to look at all the spark plug wires and noted that the boot around the connection from the distributer to the coil was cracked badly with evidence of arcing underneath. I made a hasty repair, hopped into the van and started it up in my driveway. I stepped outside to admire my handywork and saw gas pouring out from under the car. I leaped inside, turned it off and quickly pushed the van away from the house.

No big surprise, the clips holding the gas lines on to the connectors are made of pure crap and have corroded to the hoses. The hose connecting to the back of the engine bay just dissolved and fell off catastrophically. Fortunately it didn't happen when I was driving.

Anyone have the diagram mapping out the fuel lines? From my perspective on the driveway it looked more complicated than I had expected.

Isaac
