I've got a 3-wire ISV in my Vanagon... it came out of a Jetta. FWIW, I can't offer any nuggets of wisdom vis: 3-wire ISV for Digifant, but any CIS-E injection-equipped Golf, Jetta, Scirocco, Audi... and my Van... should have a 3-wire ISV. Doesn't solve much, I know, but now we know where a 3-wire ISV was unarguably used! Proceed from here as usual! -Simon
