I do use Jiffy for oil changes right now because I lack a suitable
place of my own
to do the job. that being said - they know nothing about vanagons and
you have to watch them the
whole time. I bring my own oil filters.
Last time : they filled the engine with 10w-30 despite my
instructions.
They were quite perturbed that i insist they drain the engine again and
refill it. [ i watched]
They made a point of saying my drain plug was chewed up [??]
[ I just installed the new drain plug myself 1000 miles before on the
new rebuild ]
the service man made a point to tell me he could not find the windshield
wiper fluid refill
but did say he checked the brake fluid level despite the fact I knew he
could not find that either!
But until I have a garage to do it myself I will keep using [ and
watching ] Jiffylube....
