Subject: Re: Wiper turning on by themselves - Any ideas how to fix?

I am getting ready to replace the wiper motor as some suggested that it is the wiper park switch. Before I start tearing the dash apart to get to the wiper motor I was wondering if a bad wiper relay could cause the wipers to run in the off position. I took the relay appart and it looked ok. the wiper seemed to start working independently of the wiper switch after a bout 10-15 seconds of turning on the ignition.

Anyone else have this experience?

I'm realy not looking forward to tearing my dash appart.

Thanks
