Hello, I have a question about speedometers. I am replacing a km/h speedo from an 87 doka that has a number 500 on the face plate. The one I got from the wreckers has the number 805. It is quite a bit different, the back plastic is white (not black) and there are two male connectors near the center of the rear that are not on the 500. Is this a compatible speedo? What are the two extra male connectors for? Ok, next question... The instrument cluster has a clock with out the arms (don't think it ever had them) with the fuel gauge and temperature gauge. Can I replace this with a tach? Do they "plug and play"? Is there a specific number on the tach gauge face plate I should look for?
oops, next question... the printed circuit foil came detached from it's (soldered?) pins and slightly torn. Do you solder it back to the copper colored portion or is it more difficult than that? thanks and sorry for the multiple questions. peter
