Thrifty Junkyard Advice:

- If you wear nice clothes to the junkyard you will be charged more. Also, if you have a choice drive your ugliest car to the yard.

- The prices are negotiable and they want to sell parts. I always make a counter offer to their quote and they never refuse. This saves me at least 25%.

- Buy several parts at once rather than individually. The more items you buy the cheaper the individual cost.

Feel out a couple local yards. It will quickly become clear which is the best. Take a friend and have fun.
