Subject: FPR Going South?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed

Maybe it's already failed. Symptoms: Motor will run for short periods of time and then quit. Waiting several minutes before re starting seems to be the only way to get it to start again. Prolly not Vanagon syndrome since I have a Haltech brain runing the engine instead of Digifant, but it may be acting up. The reason I think it's fuel is after the second episode of it acting up yesterday, I loosened the 7mm screw in the T- line and there was little to no pressure when the screw was removed. The fuel pump is only a month old(albeit a rebuilt one from a non-bosch company). Van has 197 k on the original FPR and even when it does run, the idle hunts pretty badly.

Am I close here, or is there something else I'm missing? Thanks to all that respond!!
