From what I have been told there were a few Porsche T3s built. In 1988 there were 10 made, I was offered one last last year. Black with nice alloy wheels, six bucket seats (leather), AC, all the options - flat six Porsche motor in it. Supposedly it was made for each of the drivers in one of Porsche's race teams.

Just saw this on ebay.

<ahref="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=42 607&item=7907534397&rd=1">

Searched the archives and came up empty. Anybody have any more info?

If this was official there should be part diagrams somewhere. Would be very interesting to see what the official Porsche conversion entailed. I would much rather have a Vanagon Syncro B 32 over a new Golf R 32.
