Dont forget that US spec vehicles are detuned to meet surrent emission standards and are probably not even close to performing what they can do. Your jetta is being deprived of alot of horsepower/torque that is directly related to two factors.

1. Your jetta weighs almost as much as an unladen Vanagon 2. drive by wire, without aftermarket software, sucks.
