Simon (though obviously not just you),

One of the difficulties in communicating at this level is that sarcastic and tongue-in-cheek responses are often not understood as such. Keep in mind the number of listees who cannot figure out the difference between brake and break. If you wish to be humorous, ADD A SMILEY FACE OF SOME SORT. (rant off).

I've been a listmemeber for several years, and have seen things gradually get more and more rancorous. Can we not all lighten up a bit before this turns into a train wreck?

Karl Wolz

In response to my VERY OBVIOUSLY tongue-in-cheek, sarcastic blast aimed at those who actually DO jump down other's throats for asking valid-but-newbie questions?

Maybe we'd have fewer flare-ups if we all read (and typed!!) with more understanding.
